504 - Lost Christmas Treasures Early 1900’s thru the 1970’s
Lost Christmas Treasures CD has music from the early 1900’s thru the 1970’s. Many of these songs were provided to me by friends and fans and are not available anywhere else on CD. Included on the "Lost Christmas Treasures" CD are some of the rarest Christmas music from the recording era. Some of the rarest are Henry Burr singing “Dear Old Santa” from 1928 and the Hoosier Hot Shots singing “The Man with the Whiskers” from 1938 . There is a song that I titled “On the Santa Claus Express” for which I have not been able to determine the artist and is not the well-known song by the similar title. Vaughn De Leath sings “The Toymaker’s Dream” from 1929. Glenn Miller’s “Jingle Bells” from 1941 for you to enjoy.
Each track has been carefully processed to remove noise — including pops, clicks, hiss, and machine noise and to enhance the quality, while striving to keep the recording true to its original sound. Some of them have been very challenging to remaster because the condition of the original recording. This means that some noise may be heard, even after processing, in order to prevent loss of important sound or distortion.
